Oceanwood Villa near Coast Cottages is a 4 story Beach home. The villa is a special place where the whole family or close friends can come together under one roof with plenty of space! It features over 4800 sq ft of luxury accommodations. The home has space enough for the kids, grand kids and adults. Or perfect for a guys or girls' weekends with 7 bedroom suites all having private baths. Various nooks and sitting rooms make this home special as do the open kitchen and living area on the main level. There is even a separate living area for the kids or hanging out on 2nd floor.
The villa features an amazing 400 sq ft rooftop terrace from which you can watch the sunrise over the Atlantic or the sunset over the marsh. That makes this location quite possibly the BEST spot at East Beach.. Just a short walk from Oceanwood Villa is St. Simons' best beach.
Oceanwood Villa has 4 levels
Here are the highlights of each level:
The terrace level features a gated, enclosed private courtyard with live oaks and palm trees, an inviting pool to soak in after a day at the beach and an outdoor shower to rinse the sand and salt off your body. There is a large deck that rests under a massive Water Oak with plenty of seating and a gas grill. The foyer entrance is tabby stone and you can access the garage and elevator from this level. On this level is a game room with a ping pong table.
The second level has a kids living area with flat screen TV, 4 bedrooms with private bathrooms, 1 bedroom has Queen, 1 bedroom has 2 sets of bunks, 2 bedrooms have 2 twins in each room. The laundry room is located here as well. This level sleeps 10
The third level features an open kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, a warming drawer, 2 ovens, a refrigerator and a microwave. The dining area can seat up to 16 for those memorable family gatherings. A covered porch has an outdoor table. The open living area features a 55' smart television and has 2 full sized couches and 2 chairs. This level has a walk-in pantry and a powder room with one of the master suites off this floor.
The fourth level has two massive master suites, each with double vanities, private commode, bath tub, and separate oversized tile shower. One suite has a covered porch overlooking Coast Cottages with chairs. The common area features a morning kitchen with small refrigerator.
The rooftop terrace has long range views of the Atlantic to the east and the marsh to the west. The rooftop has Adirondack chairs. The rooftop has soft sconce lighting for nighttime gatherings
Oceanwood has over 4,800 square feet of luxury beach side living with breath taking views which makes it a wonderful place to vacation.

Oceanwood Villa weekly guests will check in at 4 PM Saturday and check out at 10 AM the following Saturday.

Summary: Wonderful property for a large family or group of friends! We loved watching sunsets from the rooftop and enjoying our morning coffee on the porch. It’s just a short walk to East Beach and conveniently close to town, restaurants, and shops. We’ll definitely book this property again.

Summary: We just enjoyed a great girls weekend at this home. It was so roomy and comfortable and easily accommodated our group of 12. House was so clean and the location was amazing- such an easy walk to the beach and a quick ride to local restaurants and the cute downtown area. Planning our next trip back !

Summary: Checked in to the four story property for a Thursday-Friday visit... larger bedrooms up stairs. The ELEVATOR didn't work. Huge Problem. No indication before arrival there was a problem. called, and the nice lady said it couldn't be examined until Monday!

Summary: Roomy, comfortable, well-stocked kitchen, nice neighborhood with beach access close by. The only negative was a heating system that made loud rhythmic noises when it came on at night; it made sleep difficult at times for those on the top (4th) floor. Overasll, we definitely enjoyed the house

Summary: Our family (six adults and six children) absolutely loved spending time in this beautiful home. Every bedroom had its own bathroom and it could easily have slept 16 people or more. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing any type meals! Loved the outdoor rooftop deck as well.

Summary: This property was awesome! We had a group of 12 and we couldn’t say more great things about this property. We all had plenty of room, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was very well stocked. Extra bonus was the ping pong table and the beach chairs and beach wagon. We felt right at home. I definitely recommend this property!
